Dr. Zalina noted that KongZi Institute is a platform for promoting the interaction between Malaysia and China. She said that culture is an important part of language, which students should try to understand when they are learning. And by watching Chinese movie it not only can help one to learn the language but is also an interesting way to understand the culture.
The dubbing presented by contestants were so amazing that earned rounds of applause. Students in beginner levels may not understand all the dialogues, but they also attracted by the dubbing. Some contestants were totally immersed in the story to the extent of trying to act when performing their dubbing on the stage. After intense competition, Shahrul Hafiq and Siti Radhiah Binti Mahadzir from the University of Malaya won the first prize.
马来亚大学孔子学院成功举办首届中文电影配音大赛
4月24日，马来亚大学孔子学院举办了首届中文电影配音比赛，吸引30多名汉语学习者参加，由评委会选出的“十佳组合”在孔子学院进行了现场表演。孔院外方院长艾琳博士、全体中外方教职工、学生参加了此次活动。
外方院长艾琳指出，孔子学院是促进中马文化交流的重要平台，学生不仅要学习中国的语言，也要学习语言背后蕴藏的文化。而中文影视作品不仅有益于语言习得，也能以一种轻松有趣的方式帮助学生了解中国文化。
