A brief opening ceremony was held in the morning of Aug 6th. Ms Jin Limin, the new Director of Confucius office of BFSU, Ms Zou Xiaobai Vice Director of Multi-Language Press FLTRP, teachers and liaison officers attended the event. Director Jin Limin noted in her welcome remarks that she hoped students could improve their competency in Chinese and further understand the Chinese culture during the summer camp and become the ambassador of Chinese and Malaysian cultural exchange in the future.
During the 13 days Summer Camp, students learnt the Chinese language, Chinese paper-cutting, Chinese painting, Diabolo and attended four cultural lectures. In addition, they also visited famous scenic spots in Beijing such as the Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall, Bird Nest, Water Cube and Heaven Temple. Feedback from the students indicated that they greatly benefitted from the two weeks program in Beijing. They learnt Chinese language, experienced Chinese traditional culture and savor the delicious Chinese halal food. They were very grateful for the hospitality shown by Chinese people.
The closing ceremony was held at BFSU on 17thAugust. Assistant teacher from the Malaysian Language department showed a short video clip to review summer camp activities. Vice director Zou Xiaobai from FLTRP, Mr Fu Congcong from School of Asia-Africa Malaysian Language center of BFSU attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Student representatives also made speeches, sharing their feeling and experience in the wonderful 13 days. Vice director Zou Xiaobai and Mr Fu Congcong presented the certificates to all the students. In reciprocal, Malaysian students presented a gift to teachers and performed a song-“Happened to Meet You” to express their appreciation to the teachers and staffs of this summer camp.
马来亚大学孔子学院2018“了解中国”夏令营毕营
2018年8月5日至8月17日，由北京外国语大学举办、外语教学与研究出版社承办的马来亚大学孔子学院2018“了解中国”夏令营在北京外国语大学举行。此次夏令营共有来自马来西亚7所大学的18名学生参加。
8月6日上午，在北外西校区综合楼举行了简短而温馨的开营仪式。北京外国语大学孔子学院工作处处长金利民、外语教学与研究出版社综合语种出版分社副社长邹皛白，以及项目汉语教师参加了开营仪式。金利民处长致欢迎词，希望同学们通过夏令营活动深入体验中国文化，学好汉语，将来做中马友好交流的使者。
夏令营为期13天，营员们学习了汉语、剪纸、中国画、抖空竹等课程，聆听了4场文化讲座，参观游览了颐和园、故宫、天安门、长城、鸟巢、水立方、天坛公园等北京的主要景点。同学们纷纷表示，在北京、在北外生活的两周，不仅学习了汉语，体验了中国传统文化，还品尝了中国清真美食，亲身感受到了中国人的热情好客。
8月17日下午举行了夏令营毕营仪式。马来语助教制作的短片带领大家回顾了此次夏令营的点点滴滴。外研社邹皛白副社长做夏令营总结，北外亚非学院马来语专业教师傅聪聪作为授课教师代表发言，来自吉兰丹大学的美丽作为学生代表发言。邹皛白副社长、傅聪聪老师为所有学生颁发了结业证书。最后，同学们用中文演唱了《刚好遇见你》，并为老师们赠送了礼物，以此表达同学们对此次夏令营所有老师及工作人员辛苦付出的感激之情。[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”5203,5202,5201,5200″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
